Welcome to the home page of the 4th Bauxite Residue Valorisation and Best Practices Conference. On this edition we want to communicate the efforts that have successfully reached already high technological readiness. And by doing so, accelerate the industrial use of bauxite residue.

About the event
All these years we have seen bauxite residue as a resource and an opportunity. During the 1st, 2nd and 3rd BR conferences we have verified that it is also a source of innovation and ideas, as well as a material that unites scientists from around the world.

If you feel like sharing your work with the world, please send us an abstract. We have place for 12 presentations: each day 4 presentations, 40 minutes each, with 20 min dedicated for slides, 10 min for live or recorded presentation of the pilot plant scale installation and 10 min for questions. That is it, 3 days.
The best work (voted by the attendees) will receive a prize. And all the works, after peer-reviewing, will make it (or not) to the Journal of Sustainable Metallurgy.
Abstract submission deadline: 15th May 2022

Full paper submission deadline: 15th July 2022
